On Monday 22th of February, fabbricadigitale took part in the TV show Ore12 in Cremona 1 studios; Luca Carabetta, Innovation Labs manager, shared the company’s latest developments with the public.

“What phygital experience is?” asked immediately the spokesperson, journalist Giovanni Palisto. “Phygital is the evolution of smart city, where the city is digitally designed through a logical and physical mapping of places, architectural goods, work of art, events and activities of any type. On the basis of the user’s profiling, it is possible to suggest itineraries, points of interest and events related to personal tastes and preferences”, answers Luca Carabetta.

After contributing in EXPO2015’s success as technological partner, where it managed the devices’ network for digital signage, fabbricadigitale accepted a new challenge and participated in the front row for “Mantova Phygital City” project.

Mantova, elected as “Italian Capital for the Culture 2016”, will be the first city offering a “phygital experience”: thanks to an innovative platform, citizens and tourists could live the city in a completely new way. A new visiting experience is born; it links the physical world with the most innovative technologies at the service of people.

Despite products’ international orientation and high-end technological services, the headquarter is based in Casalmaggiore in the province of Cremona and fabbricadigitale is strongly committed to territory development and supports young people’s ideas through “La Voce ai Giovani” project (www.lavoceaigiovani.it).

In 2016, fabbricadigitale included the innovation world in a new department organized in three different areas: innovation ideas, innovation campus and innovation labs. Each area collects different skills but it is involved in the same purpose, that is offering a space for ideas contamination to people from inside and outside the company and support them in realizing their plans.
