fabbricadigitale, supporter for Smart Services Cooperation Lab (cooperation between Telecom and Bologna CNR), is part of Smart City Living Lab project: a laboratory widespread on the territory for the experimentation of a new smart city model.
5 totems (three outdoor and two indoor) were placed in the key points of Bologna, managed through our XuniPlay platform which has already been used in Expo 2015.
Cooperation Lab has developed the engagement application which provides an interactive map of artistic and cultural points of interest, public transport, public utility services and accommodation facilities, a calendar of the events in the city and a smart generator of electronic postcards with the opportunity to take a picture with the totem webcam. You can also refer to a section of useful information such as weather forecast, local numbers for emergency, municipal offices and tourism organizations.
Thanks to this collaboration Bologna, elected first Italian smart city this year, is committed even more actively in the creation of innovative services and tools to improve the life quality of citizens and the accessibility to information of interest for tourists.
