Inside the headquarter fabbricadigitale implemented building automation systems as an opportunity to control and supervise each aspect regarding the physical management of the building.

The installed building automation systems are aimed at:

• Automation of various devices
• Irrigation control
• Real-time monitoring of power consumption
• Integration of intrusion detection systems

When choosing the technologies, our company has complied with its own principles, which encourage integration and interoperability, and chose to make use of standard devices and protocols.
In this way it has been possible to use systems of different manufacturers and, most importantly, to self-develop portions of the supervision system. In particular we chose to use the Konnex protocol for the communication bus of the devices.
So the company has developed software portions to integrate the building automation systems with its own information systems, in order to make the building management more functional towards the other corporate processes for monitoring and control.
