What is MultiUx?

multiux MULTIUX is a software which allows the integrated management of the resources of a Microsoft-based Unified Communications platform.
Thanks to the management of pre-defined profiles and templates, allows to manage the resources and the security profile of every user in an immediate and integrated way, keeping central the Active Directory identity of the user and providing at the same time tools for the self-optimization of processes and efficiency of related activities.

MULTIUX manages Active Directory, Exchange 2010 and 2007, Lync and OCS R2, also in “mixed” mode.

How does it work?

You can access MULTIUX through a web console or, if it’s integrated with other provisioning systems, through an SDK; a mobile interface is also available to access emergency features.
MULTIUX interfaces with all the components of the managed platform with low-level languages.

Who needs MultiUx?

MULTIUX is useful for medium-large size companies where the governance of the platform represents a major technical and organizational commitment, in particular when the organizational structure is composed of various related companies.
The harmonization of systems and manual processes represents a chance for great savings, guaranteeing at the same time the possibility to keep under control security and privacy issues.

Usability: MULTIUX allows to activate, with the plug-in model, only controls and features necessary to the infrastructure, guaranteeing the easiest management for administrators.

Profiling: the system allows to define provisioning profiles, through which for every new activated user it will be possible to create automatically the set of services according to his role inside the company.

Resource Forest Model: MULTIUX supports the unidirectional trust relationships between the Active Directories of the client and of the platform, allowing to implement Single Sign On mechanisms.

Ethicall Wall: MULTIUX implements an exclusive feature for Lync/OCS/CS14 which allows to manage the authorized ‘routes’ of communication among users, by controlling different protocols, preserving the privacy and confidentiality of the users and guaranteeing that real-time communications happen only between the units which have really to communicate.

Security: users who access MULTIUX are profiled according to the security profile and each activity (access, change, etc) is logged in order to guarantee the congruence of security audits.
